Aitutaki
Your visit to this stunning lagoon 225 kilometres north of Rarotonga will be a very special experience you will always remember - a step back in time, a renewal of the spirit.
Aitutaki is the second most visited of the magical Cook Islands. The 45 kilometre lagoon teeming with tropical fish and many small uninhabited Motu's (islands) is paradise for snorkellers, scuba divers and fishing enthusiasts. A day tour to this magical place includes an island tour and lagoon cruise. Lunch will be prepared while you relax and work on your tan, explore the coral, go snorkelling or hand feed the fish - an experience you will never forget. For many people, two or three nights here is a "must see" addition to their Cook Islands holiday. Accommodation ranges from budget style beach bungalows and self-catering motels to deluxe resorts regarded as amongst the best in the world.
